JOB SUMMARY
The Lab Technician is responsible for running and maintaining the core laboratory instruments, and collecting, logging, and preparing a variety of samples for routine analysis. A successful candidate will be working closely with the Research Associate and Principal Scientists. This will be a 6-month contract with potential for full-time employment.
AGRICULTURE, FOOD, AND/ OR NUTRITIONAL SCIENCE RESEARCH ASSOCIATE TO WORK IN MARLBOROUGH, MA, USA
JOB SUMMARY
We are searching for a Research Associate that desires to be on the defining edge of food quality and its relationship to agriculture and human health. The Research Associate will be responsible for maintaining the core laboratory instruments and functions, designing experiments and testing new methods, cooperating with partners on collecting samples, preparation of samples, and analysis, and training interns and lab technicians on core analytical instruments.
This is a research position. A successful candidate will be working closely with the Principal Research Scientists and expected to perform background literature searches, write brief summaries, and participate in explorative, collaborative discussions. This will be a 6-month contract with the possibility for full-time employment upon successful review.
