It only makes sense that if you create a healthier system . . . the crops grown in it will be healthier too.

Nutrient density testing is one way to quantify the nutritional benefits that result from the choices farmers make about how to grow their crops.

Grounded Growth is very focused on this promising area of inquiry -- encouraging our farmers to get their crops tested as a way to help potential partners prove the value they bring.

This Regenerative Minute provides a high level overview of this important topic from an interview of two of our members: with scientist Dr. Jill Clapperton and farmer Derek Axten. The full interview interview is available in on inside the Grounded Growth online network. Click here to join them.

Our Mission

We work to demonstrate and promote the link between healthy soils and the production of nutrient-dense food.  Our strategies include whole system planning for crops, livestock, and/or integrated crop and livestock systems. We know that one-size fits no one so we coach our clients to implement strategies that best suit them, their families, community, and markets, to restore and enhance agro-ecosystem function and services.
